How does Guitartogo provide guitar tracks for my songs?
Our service is for users of multitrack hard disc recording software or DAWs. After receiving a rough mix of your song and a description of the guitar parts you desire, we provide a cost estimate. Upon receipt of a 50% deposit, we record guitar tracks to your song, add eq and effects if desired and send the isolated guitar tracks (or completed mix if requested) back to you for evaluation and importation into your song.

How will this work with my software?
The isolated guitar tracks we record will be delivered to you in either wav, aiff or MP3 format and can then be imported into your session. We record at 24 or 16 bit with sample rates up to 92k per your request. As long as all instructions are followed in creating your rough mix (or guide track), our tracks will sync right up with the tracks you’ve already recorded in your program.

How are files transferred?
Files can be transferred one of three ways. Via email (note: we do not accept unsolicited email files, please contact us for the correct email address to send submissions for estimates), via private pages on our web site set up for individual clients, or via traditional mail or courier for clients without highspeed internet access.

How much does this service cost?
Our fee for your project depends upon three factors. The length of the piece, the number of tracks requested and the thoroughness of the notation/charts provided. We can do transcriptions when necessary (to double melodies/solos/bass lines etc.) and the extra labor required would therefore be reflected in our fee. A basic acoustic or electric rhythm track with a lead sheet provided would start at around $50. Transcribing, doubling and harmonizing your five minute freeform tuba solo? We’ll need to talk :-) There are also volume discounts for large projects. Please contact us to learn how to submit your project for an estimate.
